visible at the bottom of other lakes
a saddle has fallen into some lake and is still
at its bottom a large forest is seen at the bottom
of a certain lake a castle is visible
under the water of a certain lake
in fine weather
and so
Brandon Shimoda was born on the west coast of the United States, and has since lived in nine states and five countries. His collaborations, drawings, poems and reviews have appeared in print, online, on vinyl and on walls. He is the author of The Alps (Flim Forum Press, 2008), The Inland Sea (Tarpaulin Sky Press, 2008), and two books forthcoming: O Bon (Litmus Press) and The Girl without Arms (Black Ocean Press). He lives again on the west coast of the United States.
